Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic French Tutor to join our remote teaching team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in French language education and a proven track record of helping students reach up to a B2 proficiency level. This role requires a deep understanding of the nuances of the French language and the ability to prepare students effectively for the TEF exam.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective French language lessons to students up to B2 level, ensuring a thorough understanding of the material.
• Prepare students for the TEF Canada exam, focusing on all necessary competencies and skills.
• Develop lesson plans and curricula that cater to the needs of individual students and groups.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
• Utilize various educational technologies to enhance learning experiences and outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date records of students’ progress and attendance.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance teaching methods and experiences.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in teaching French as a foreign language.
• Must have achieved a C1 or C2 proficiency level in French.
• Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the methodologies and pedagogies related to foreign language instruction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be comfortable working in a virtual environment and using educational technology platforms.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet educational goals.
