Upper intermediate is where French stops feeling rehearsed. Three shifts happen in this course, and we train each one deliberately.
B1 carries small talk. B2 carries opinions: nuance, counterarguments, and disagreement without offence.
Cover letters, reports, formal requests. The written tasks on TEF Canada live at exactly this level.
Radio clips, fast meetings, Québécois accents. We train with real audio rather than classroom recordings.
A steady rhythm, planned so a full-time job and a B2 course can coexist.

Working professionals, mostly: nurses, developers, accountants, drivers. They live in Brampton, Mississauga, or nearby, and they need French for Express Entry, a federal posting, or a francophone client list.
Class topics come from Canadian workplaces and news. Listening practice uses Radio-Canada rather than Parisian textbook audio, and writing tasks copy the formats the IRCC-approved exams actually test.

Yes, comfortably finished B1 or the equivalent; our intermediate course is the usual route in. Not sure where you sit? The demo class includes a level check, and we’ll tell you plainly if another level fits better.
The B2 course runs about two to three months. Comfort at this level keeps building beyond the course itself, through the weekly writing, listening, and speaking work you do between classes.
B2 performance maps to CLB 7 on TEF Canada, the threshold where French starts adding serious Express Entry value: up to 50 CRS points, plus eligibility for French-proficiency category draws. Exam-style tasks are built into class.

Both. IRCC accepts either exam and the skills overlap almost entirely. We use TEF-style tasks by default and adjust materials if you’re booked for TCF.
